Environmental and Social Assessment (ESA) is the assessment of the environmental and Social Consequences (positive and negative) of a plan, program, policy, or actual projects prior to the decision to go ahead with the proposed action. These assessments can be conducted at different levels to ensure proper management and overall sustainability.
